Ron Mattocks is Vice President of Marketing, Membership and External Relations for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). From 2004-2009 Ron was an independent consultant working with nonprofit organizations with annual revenue of $2 million to $2 billion including heath care, higher education, the arts, health and human services, and faith based organizations. Prior to that he served in executive management positions as vice president/chief marketing officer for the American College of Cardiology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New Jersey Hospital Association, the American Society for Training and Development, and Rowan University.

Ron has served on numerous nonprofit boards including Keswick Pines (one of New Jersey’s premier assisted living communities), Christian Camp and Conference Association, Women In Community Service (a Job Corps contractor serving women in transition), the Center for Multicultural Health Services (providing mental health counseling to 8,000 immigrants in the Washington DC metro area), and the Middle Atlantic Health Congress.

He is author of Zone of Insolvency, How Nonprofits Avoid Hidden Liabilities and Build Financial Strength published by John Wiley & Sons, 2008. Ron earned a Master of Science in Management at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Education at Rowan University of New Jersey, and holds the certificate in fundraising management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University’s Fund Raising School.
